Hello,

I have the same bug. It also seemed to me that it worked randomly
something like 5 to 10% of the time.

After some use it now seems to me that it always works if I shift-click on the 
first line of a text block, e.g.:
- first line of a paragraph
- first line after a displayed formula
- first line of each item in a list or enumerate environment
- first line of a proposition, lemma, theorem, etc.
On the other hand it never works in the middle of a paragraph (when I say in 
the middle, I actually mean any line but the first one).

I hope this might help to fix the bug. At least once you know it, this
makes the inverse search usable again.
