Problem was that my old default session has not been opened at startup.
That's why there was no navigation area in the sidebar. When opening the

My problem seems to be related to the 64 Bit Version of Intrepid. With
an upgraded Hardy to Intrepid 32 Bit version I can use EXA without any
bigger problems (It still works not perfect, for example an OpenGL game
flickers with enabled Compiz...). Seems there is a difference between

Hello Andreas,
first I updated BIOS to new version but it didn't help. Then I did the
steps mentioned:
1. I adjusted screen brightness to 42% in kde-guidance-powermanager
2. Did the other steps...
6. When my session came back, brightness was much to bright again; When I
pressed brightness down

Because of the bug of Gnome Power Manager and other bugs which the Gnome
panel has (like moving objects on the panel - it's like in a disco ;), I
switched to KDE until these things get fixed. There the power manager

As an end user I don't care if I need a hp:/ or a usb:/ URI for my
printer! I just want to open HP Toolbox to see how much ink is still in
my cartridge etc. This should be possible out the box without hacking in
command line.
