The problem is somehow triggerd by the installed languages. I had English, German, French, Italian, Portuguise and Esperanto installed on the machine that was affected by the bug. Now I just removed all languages but English and German, and now the user-accounts starts up as it should. -- You

I can confirm that the indicators do no longer shift on my Acer Travelmate 6292 ( Intel Graphics ). Still I'm not completely happy, as one issue remains: When I connect the external Monitor the Top Panel has a nasty Background, the lower 1/4 of the Panel has the wrong color (see image attached)
