My 1Gb/s card is now working because I have connected it to a 100Mb/s
switch. I am guessing since it can only work at 1/10 of the speed, it
never feels heavy load, so it never goes down.
Hope it helps someone as temporal solution.

Public bug reported:
I installed Ubuntu Jaunty formating a Intrepid installation. With
intrepid the computer was working fine, but with Jaunty it randomly
freezes. I believe is a X problem because when working with the console
only it does not happen. Sometimes the computer will not freezes but
I am having the same problem using Ubuntu Server 9.04 (Jaunty). The
machines is the Atom 330 based board D945GCLF2 with the RealTek RTL8111C
Ethernet Controller.
After a whil of heavy load (sometimes seconds) the network stops
working. After some time (arrond 1 or 2 minutes) it recovers itself
Tryed solution proposed at the beggining of this thread, consisting on
turning off TSO (TCP Segmentation Offload) with sudo ethtool -K eth0
tso off, but it does not work. The network stops working under heavy
load.

I have tried manually installing the NVIDIA drivers manually, but it

Ok. The mythtv isue seems to be gone now. Ill try to explain the
situation as easy as I can:
-Installed mythtv and gstreamer codecs: Mythvideo wont even load the
videos, and totem plays the audio but shows a static weird green image.
-First reboot.
-Totem seems to play everything fine, but
I speaked too soon. Theres definitively a problem between either totem
or gstreamer codecs and mythvideo. If I reboot and start any of them
they work fine, but when I try to use the other afterwards it just
starts doing weird things. Like playing the sound but not the video, or
not playing
