The basic is to create the file just after snapd.service has deleted it.

Making an apt-get upgrade today, firefox refuse to install...
Same problem in file /var/lib/dpkg/alternatives/xulrunner
That file is empty, and seems to cause problem to dpkg.
Any clue?

Problem solved by editing /var/lib/dpkg/alternatives/xulrunner:
content who should be there:

Binary package hint: nautilus
When connecting to a secure webdav server using the file connect to
server command of nautilus, a dialog box open.
You specify a user name (and other options: server name, port, ) in
the box, it then ask for password (ok) and then a error
I also get the problem under 9.04 installer 8.10 installer. Seems that
my harddrive is not a common one.
For 8.10, I manipulated /lib/partman/init.d/35dump (removing the 2 lines
of output in /tmp) and it worked fine. For 9.04, it was a bit more
tricky!
