[Bug 1044430] [NEW] Php ftp_* eats memory
Public bug reported: Hi! Today i write a small Transport-Class for my web deployment-System. Its a php-Script behind apache2 where i can post json_arrays to and the deployserver than starts to get git-Repository, check files and deploy them by ftp, ftps and so on. I wonmder about memory usage when in transfer big projects (typo3-Projects for example). I use xdebug to find memory leaks and firgure out that ftp_* Commands in php are the memory eater. So i write a small script that only connects to a ftp-server and ftp_put a file 1 times and then close the connection. Result: The memory gets lower and lower and also after ftp_close never will be free'd. Only a restart of apache2 helps. Public bug reported: Binary package hint: samba Hi! Since several week i have a big problem with my samba-server: When i try to get access to a file from a client, the client hangs. When i make a ps fax after the sambaserver stops there will be one smbd process that is still running. I have to kill it with kill -KILL pid to stop it (and restart the sambaserver. [Bug 329682] [NEW] samba lock files (also local ones)
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: samba Hi! Since several week i have a big problem with my samba-server: When i try to get access to a file from a client, the client hangs. Then i try to access the file direct on the samba-server with same effect (client hangs). When i access other files, it work (both, from client and on sambaserver direct). After shutdown the sambaserver (/etc/init.d/samba stop) i can access the file local on the sambaserver (but of course not from a client). When i make a ps fax after the sambaserver stops there will be one smbd process that is still running. I have to kill it with kill -KILL pid to stop it (and restart the sambaserver. When i start the sambaserver again everything works well (untikl next lock). In the logfiles there is nothing special. As attachment you will find further information. I have done :) The problem: If gnome is once loaded nautilus will open fast (also if i logoff/logon). If i create another user and login immediate after reboot, it takes round about 5 minutes to open nautilus. Also the background-picture i have selected for my dekstop will appear after round about 5 minutes. Thats right for all users (also new created). [Bug 252105] [NEW] After Installation of virtualbox my nvidia-driver did'nt work anymore
Public bug reported: Hi! I have successfull installed the nvidia-Driver 173.14.09 for my Graphiccard NVidia GT9600 on Ubtuntu 8.04. Then i decide to install virtualbox. After installation of virtualbox the xserver starts with a warning low resolution window and the nvidia-setting say's that the driver isn't loaded. So i deinstall virtualbox. Same as above. Then i install the nvidia- driver again. After this action the xserver loads the nvida-driver correct. I retry it (install virtualbox). Same effect (low resolution window an not loaded nvidia-driver). Then i try to download virtualbox direct from www.virtualbox.org and install it: Same effect: Not loaded nvidia-driver an low resolutionwindow. Maybe cause of the nmi (i think virtualbox do something with it) ?
