The software update window doesn't shows properly the downloading files
"progress bars", when expanding this window area it shows just partially one of
the progress bars.
Similar occurs once installing the new packages, when
I had the same problem at random time. Adding a new widget and scrolling
over caused de error every time after few seconds.
Playing around activities, I tried adding a new empty one. No changes.
Then I deleted this new one and the Search Launch, which was no
functional anyway.

Hi Leann,
isn't an issue anymore and I forgot posting what happened. After
deleting kernel 2.6.28-13 the update manager kept showing a blocked
update. The update was already installed on my system, so I tried
deleting the package and gave me no other packages involved in the
removal. I proceeded

I tried to install using aptitude safe-upgrade. It ended with errors and
did not install linux headers. fglx could not recompile and when I
