The behaviour which I mentioned did not reoccur since I upgraded to
10.04. But it's only one day so far with just a few hours acutually
working. But maybe we are all lucky.

setxkbmap de -option
Wich I added in a app laucher in the GNOME panel to have it easily in
access from all applications - whenever it happens.

My problem was actually a little bit different: the keyboard layout was
lost at an unknown during work at the computer. I have not had the
problem for a few days now either, BUT: I just tried this
unlugging/plugging my USB keyboard. First it did work correctly after
replugging, but just a minute

- on resume there are three beebs in a distance of about 2secs
- the system actually does resume, just not display anything - at least I can
ping and login with ssh 2secs after the beebs

About a week ago my sound stopped working, maybe by a package upgrade or

Since the latest Feisty kernel upgrade a few days ago resume works after
a suspend to hdd. But not after a susped to ram.
But I am not sure if it was really this kernel upgrade or an earlier
one. I haven't tried for a while because the change comments did not
list anything which I though could
I had no problems with Suspend/Resume Gutsy. And unforunately your
patch does not change anything in Feisty :-( Thanks for your suggestion
anyway.

I have the same problem with my Samsung X20 and tried the new deb file
and the other settings: Problem remains. Not had the time for the
debugging hints yet, sorry.
