I am on 12.04 LTS (32x) and get often black screen while watching video.
Intel i915 driver on integrated video chip. How do I get rid of black
screen?

Hulu audio is completely out of sync with video. Also, hulu playback
goes black frequently. This used to work perfectly with Hardy with beta
flash x64, but not anymore. I am on lucid x32. Hulu desktop also does

Also, thunderbird is acting really weird on lucid x32. It is like
development went backwards not forward. Canonical tried to imitate OSX
with thunderbird with ridiculous results. You do not have to imitate,
just make it work like Outlook.

Thanks for telling me about streamtuner2. I just installed it and I am
using it with XMMS. When I try to switch stations, there is a pause, the
whole screen goes gray, then after a while it does switch to the other
station. It also records - so far so good. Thanks so much for letting me
know. I had
segmentation fault - when you try to start in terminal as sudo. Same
problem w/out sudo. Why is this messed up again?

not open at all. It is listed under System Preferences, but does not
open. How can this be fixed?

Not completely true. Canonical changed the pre-set player on streamtuner
to be audacious, i.e. when you get streamtuner from synaptic it
automatically install audacious with its plugins. So, somebody is doing
something, but they are not doing a good job. It is audacious that is
interfering with str
I think I fixed it. Go to .streamtuner and delete all files in there.
Then launch streamtuner, reinstall streamripper and it works! The top
stream categories are still messed up, but have to live with that. Keep
your fingers crossed.

This bug needs to stay open until it is fixed. This is the ONLY app that
can record shoutcast streams w/out a problem. Why is this functionality
still ignored? Not acceptable. The audacious plugin that comes from
synaptic does NOT work in jaunty. Now there is segmentation fault when
you try to star

What is a Plait script? Did you fix your streamtuner? Steps?? Audacious
does not work with mine in hardy x64. xmms does work perfectly except
that Canonical got rid of it and put in the non-workable xmms2 in its
place.

Sorry, the first comment was actually directed not at you, but at the
2007 claim at the top of the thread that this bug was "fixed." Not sure
what exactly is going on with these depositories. Bottom line, Canonical
could fix this easily and they do not do it because they do not care.

Problem must be in streamtuner as Live365 also DOES NOT work - list of
stations is empty just like Shoutcast. This is a deal breaker for me.
Obviously, the Canonical guys cannot appreciate that Streamtuner with
the original XMMS (not with XMMS2, which does not work with Streamtuner)

Nothing is fixed. Streamtuner suddenly showed empty shoutcast list of
stations yesterday and I am unable to fix it. How do I fix this? This is
the application which I use most in hardy x64. Please help. THis is
urgent.
