i am installing this
(lib32z1-dev_1%3a1.2.8.dfsg-2ubuntu4_amd64.deb)
for Android Build Environment on a Fresh Xubuntu (Xenial Xerus from 16.04.1
image)
either zlib or lib32z-dev needs to be fixed, or BOTH: each package
should check first if
should i force this as:
$ sudo apt-get -o Dpkg::Options::="--force-overwrite" install lib32z1-dev
to mirror the fix suggested here->

You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu
i have a duplicate bug, but runs in reverse:
package lib32z1-dev (not installed) failed to install/upgrade: trying to

has the openNTPD implementation of NTP daemon been considered?
i think the Ubuntu teams working on this should resolve it quickly,
Debian-compatible distros have implemented this properly
ntpd should be functional out of the box, though time and date settings
could be set to Manual by default,

okay,
so clamav packages are not supposed to check for clamav:clamav , clamav:adm
users when installing/upgrading?
should not clamav create them when missing?

i also had to add sane/scanner group/user back manually,
it seems the group and passwd files got corrupted OR overwritten by the

worked properly

I think *adobe-flashplugin* pretty much supersedes flashplugin-nonfree,
SINCE adobe's revival of interest in Linux/UNIX systems increased their
direct participation in opensource packages
and after 9.x and Ubuntu 8.04 release the more updated and more compatible
package comes as *adobe-flashplugin

Hi,
I recently installed flashplugin-nonfree under Xubuntu 8.04 on two
machines. To begin with, I tried to load a video on YouTube, but Firefox
didn't
Setting up adobe-flashplugin (10.0.15.3-1hardy2)
i removed previous versions of the same file,
NOW it works if Firefox is started as ROOT (terminal:sudo firefox) right
after install
i now have Adobe Flash
tried the same procedure before, but doesn't work, i wonder if it has
been patched since
