OK, in my case this was fixed by installing the python-rsvg package. I found

I feel somewhat ashamed to say this, but the bug IS totaly not there, at
least when it comes to the mic properly working.
The mic works out of the box on Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R Socket 1366, even
just with the Live CD. MY mic didnt because it was BROKEN mic. Now I
should consider becoming a farmer
