same here. Would be happy to provide any information needed, as this is
really disturbing and I am not sure if this will brake any other upgrade
in the future. Other packages are upgrading fine, so at the moment no
influence on the upgrade process.

Well, I finaly installed on only 1 HD and not on the RAID. Have read a lot of
posts throughout the internet, that this RAID stuff from nvidia is not used
properly by ubuntu and other linux distros (even if you are able to install the
system on it ;-) )
BTW: Installation worked with Ubuntu
will do, because the solution I did with the fedora fix did give some
special behaviours.
When rebooting, no problem. When shutting down and afterwards booting windows
(dual boot) or even 11.10, my machine reboots while booting and I am having the
same press F1, there was a POST failure issue
same here for me on oneiric - latest patches

Tried to install ubuntu 11.10 alongside with Win7 on a asus p5n32-e sli
with nvidia raid on-board.
Have tried different types of raid configs and also installing with the
default install with window7
First times the installer went through, but only used 1 part of the
same here after boot-repair a (by the installer) false configured grub.
Windows is bootable via the grub menu but ubuntu 11.10 fails to boot

Made the above entry in the blacklist-watchdog on ubuntu 11.10 beta and:
kernel crash when rebooting.
Had to reinstall the kernel, because the system won't come up after
implementing the blacklist entry with initramfs... This is getting a serious
bug.
Still have to check if the same happens
when unchecking Download updates and extra codecs it worked for me
