Title:
killall does not find processes with names longer than 15
To manage
Public bug reported:
The error message is "no process found". If I shorten the name of the
binary to 15 characters, killall works as before. The change was
introduced by Ubuntu 19.04.
Example:
# server_with_16ch &
# killall server_with_16ch
server_with_16ch: no process found

Due to the nature of the machine and the firewalls in place I will not
be able to run the apport-collect command. The information I have
provided should be enough to discuss the issue
** Package changed: linux (Ubuntu) => udev (Ubuntu)
** Changed in: udev (Ubuntu)
Status: Incomplete =>
/dev/sdad'(out) 'ID_WWN=0x5000cca242d96928'
'ata_id --export /dev/sdad'(out) 'ID_WWN_WITH_EXTENSION=0x5000cca242d96928'
I am unsure if the fix should be in udev or lsblk, but I wanted to bring
it up for discussion because the serial not being displayed properly.
Kind regards,
Sven Wiltink
I can confirm this bug for Ubuntu 18.04. with 0.0.svn13576+dfsg-3 too.
Really disappointing...
Workaround with manually starting it as flieller suggest works. :)

It seems that the change to support this would be minimal, see below.
All file writing during restore seems to be done by
util.py/copyfileobj()
Unless I'm very much mistaken, the following change would do sparse
files, _if_ (and only if) the target object is empty to begin with. If
it isn't, this
I'm very much in favor of this.
Does this imply an update to Apache 2.4.37, too? (see
https://github.com/apache/httpd/blob/2.4.x/CHANGES)

I can confirm this.
Switching to German keyboard layout and back to Dvorak International
made my AltGr key stop working. I've tried the following:
setxkbmap dvorak intl
setxkbmap -model pc105 dvorak intl
Both without success.
Logging out and back in worked.
