[Bug 489830] Re: Settings of gpointing-device-settings are non-persistent
This bug is still affecting the soon-to-be-released 12.40 Precise Pangolin. I use a Lenovo X201s and have both trackpoint and touchpad. I use g-p-d-s to disable the touchpad. [Bug 682788] Re: Global menu is not ergonomical on large screens
It looks like fixing this problem is actually on the radar for 12.04 LTS. It's important to note that the fix _cannot_ simply be an ON/OFF option: 1) ON - Leaves alive all the same issues described in this lengthy bug report. 2) OFF - Defeats the benefits of the Global Menu with a maximized window. While those two options should certainly be available, it is critical that the fix includes the single most important and most requested option: [x] Global Menu only for maximized windows Without this option, no progress toward a real solution will have been made. I realize that, but the ever-more-frustrating-to-use Launchpad tracking system seems to no longer allow the nominating of a release series. I am trying to get this back on the radar. I incorrectly filed this against indicator-network. I changed the project to NetworkManager which I believe is responsible for nm-applet. It appears I'm unable to remove the Network Menu project from the bug. Why is that? The bug submitter should be able to change this info. ** Package changed: indicator-network (Ubuntu) = network-manager ** Project changed: indicator-network = network-manager-applet -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/883317 Title: 11.10 nm-applet menu cut off at screen edge To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/network-manager/+bug/883317/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 40872] Re: Desktop icons are allowed to overlap
While I realize this is an upstream issue, I can't believe there's not an Ubuntu patch even if upstream devs are unwilling to fix this. Still seeing this same old bug behavior on Oneiric 11.10 with gnome 3. The fact that this carried over from gnome 2.x.x shows a serious lack of attention to usablilty/polish. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to the bug report. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/40872 Title: Desktop icons are allowed to overlap To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/hundredpapercuts/+bug/40872/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
