this is what I did to get through to install xkb-data:
download of the 386 build of xkb-data_1.1 latest version here:
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xkeyboard-config/1.1~cvs.20080104.1-1ubuntu8/+build/746196
Then did a simple dpkg -i on it. This did the trick.
Please note that the
Same here. Same logs. Same stuck situation : modprobe -r iwl3945
modprobe iwl3945 , ifconfig eth1 down ifconfig eth1 up won't do
anything. I have no clue to resolve this situation apart from rebooting
ubuntu.
This happens randomly after several minutes of good working connection.
Public bug reported:
'du' called directly through PATH resolution do not behave as calling
directly '/usr/bin/du'.
This is an example :
# /usr/bin/du /var/cache/apt
4 /var/cache/apt/archives/partial
179488 /var/cache/apt/archives
204196 /var/cache/apt
# du /var/cache/apt
204196
oops, big mistakes from myself... forgot to check
'type du' says there's an alias to 'du -s'
Sorry... will look if I can close this bug report myself.
