[Bug 1636467] Re: Ubuntu 16.10: lsscsi shows wrong wwn
Hi paelzer, I have already responded to you on the corresponding Github issue (https://goo.gl/kxcRwY). Summarizing my response here for the convenience of others: - Already tried multiple times to catch lsscsi maintainer Doug Gilbert dgilb...@interlog.com regarding this patch with no success. - The github repository is just and mirror for a private svn repo hence only way to push patches is via email. - I have already sent an updated patch to the linux-scsi mailing list at http://marc.info/?l=linux-scsi&m=148975219308242 - Helpfully redhat has verified the patch and accepted it as an out of tree patch. The Debian bug report you mentioned looks different from what this patch tries to fix hence probably needs a new bug to be reported to Debian. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1636467 Title: Ubuntu 16.10: lsscsi shows wrong wwn To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lsscsi/+bug/1636467/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 548992] Re: Wireless connection frequently drops [deauthenticating by local choice (reason=3)]
This bug also affects me (reason=3 in syslog), and I can confirm that switching form DHCP to manual IP assignment (on the same router/network!) prevents disconnection. However the following still happens: If I disconnect in software for some other reason (mostly when I lot out or log in back, or sometimes when I need to switch off the wifi- router for some reason), I need to manually switch off the wireless (I usually use the "hardware switch" on my sony vaio) before I can connect back. Otherwise network manager icon just keeps suggesting that it is connecting, and it never gets form (that is, I keep see that rotating icon, but never gets to the signal icon). PS: I am using Natty. Do I have to file a separate bug report or this one does the job? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/548992 Title: Wireless connection frequently drops [deauthenticating by local choice (reason=3)] To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/linux/+bug/548992/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 659712] [NEW] New device name enumerated after suspend/resume cycle
Public bug reported: On Thinkpad T61, the touchpad and trackpoint are enumerated using the i8042 driver to be serio devices. In 2.6.32 series kernel from Lucid, the trackpoint was always enumerated as serio2 after a resume and its sysfs entry remained under /sys/devices/platform/i8042/serio1/serio2/. With Maverick 2.6.35 kernel, after a resume a new device entry is created and older lost. So from serio1/serio2, it changes to serio1/serio3 after a resume, then to serio1/serio4 and so on. I set parameters using sysfs.conf for trackpoint sensitivity/speed and those are lost since a new device entry is created. [Bug 640982] [NEW] [Realtek ALC259] Recording problem - Can hear a lot of noise, no recording

#110 works for me too. I have the latest released lucid packages and am not on patched compiz. I don't see the problems regarding partial cursor theme display. [Bug 614687] [NEW] gnome-terminal crashes with Segmentation fault in _IO_file_doallocate
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-terminal I was trying to update my cursor theme in compiz and updated the x -cursor-theme. The system didn't like it and I reverted the changes. But since then, I am getting these crashes in mostly GNOME applications. It is easier to reproduce the crash with the gnome-terminal package. >From dmesg | tail [ 4766.334708] gnome-panel[7411]: segfault at befb2ffc ip b6c4f2b3 sp befb2ffc error 6 in libc-2.11.1.so[b6be8000+153000] [ 4876.927969] gnome-terminal[7763]: segfault at bf040ffc ip b6ed7835 sp bf041000 error 6 in libc-2.11.1.so[b6e7c000+153000] ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.04 Package: gnome-terminal 2.29.6-0ubuntu5 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.32-24.39-generic-pae 2.6.32.15+drm33.5 Uname: Linux 2.6.32-24-generic-pae i686 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Architecture: i386 CheckboxSubmission: 1ac9995abbd9123cea98763317e72e22 CheckboxSystem: 0ede5de78dbf0a79de4ac93c88c84721 Date: Sat Aug 7 01:30:07 2010 ProcEnviron: LANG=en_US.utf8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: gnome-terminal ** Affects: gnome-terminal (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 lucid -- gnome-terminal crashes with Segmentation fault in _IO_file_doallocate https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/614687 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Would anyone of you happen to know how to restrict the lowest C-state of the processor? I ran into a similar problem on freebsd, where the lapic loses ticks on c-states lower than C1, causing temporary or permanent hard-freezes. Setting the lowest c-state to C1 fixed the problem. Under freebsd you set a sysctl (hw.acpi.cpi.cx_lowest=C1). I'm not sure how this is done on Linux, but if someone does, please try to set the lowest C-state to C1 and see if that helps. -- Clocksource tsc unstable leads to lockups in Ubuntu Jaunty https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/355155 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
