I've upgraded from 10.10 to 11.10 and too find it sometimes extremely slow and unresponsive. Sometimes it kinda freezes although the hard-disk light flashes.This normally happens if I switch apps or open a new app etc. It's almost so bad I'm considering going back to 10.04. My Laptop (Fujitsu

My Fujitsu Lifebook S7020 does the same thing when resuming from suspend. It does not do it all the time and the only pattern I can find is that if I quickly log-in then it does not do it i.e. I use the blank screen-saver with password protection on. Not sure if the solution above would work for
