Actually in retrospect I had the right idea. This is reproducible in both xfce4 and openbox but not gnome so far. I looked through the source code in mnemosyne and it sure seemed like it was just calling some generic Qt4 things...something tells me despite how easy it is to trigger in mnemosyne, mnemosyne isn't it. Either way.
