Hi Peter, usually I wouldn't interfere, but the problem you have got seems strangely familiar to me. I once had this problem after a programm messed up the compiz settings. Try to look in the Compiz Settings dialog and look for the program switcher. It could be that the switcher settings are clear

Yes, when I open a document associated with one of the libreoffice apps it does export the titlebar, controls just fine to the panel. It does not; however, do it when I open up - say writer directly with a blank document. It seems like it only exports when you open an existing document from within
