Hi all- The kvm-source package is now handled by dkms in Ubuntu (dynamic kernel module support). * http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dynamic_Kernel_Module_Support This is working in Jaunty, except for a bug on upgrading kvm-source, which I'm working on now. See Bug #334177. I'm going to mark this bug 'fix released' for now. Confirmed! I installed a new KUbuntu 7.04 on my new laptop! Everything fine (pretty fine :) indeed). I copy my WinXP images that use with qemu to the laptop. Then I red about kvm and I have support on my HW :) But when trying to install kvm I found out that I also have to install kvm-source so I can have the kernel modules.
