to RAM works since I'm using the UEFI mode of this laptop and
linux-image-3.7.0-7-generic in 13.04.

My installation uses the default windows installation. (UEFI), i then have
Ubuntu on a separate partition, and have used boot-repair to fix the boot.

I just tested both Live-CDs.
Waking up from suspend does not work in
http://old-releases.ubuntu.com/releases/natty/ubuntu-11.04-desktop-amd64.iso
live.
But there's a subtle difference: The HDD LED does not start to flash or shine
(only the LED that indicates the power state).
