I see (and hear) similar symptoms as well on Kubuntu 12.10 + KDE 4.10.1, but in contrast to what was reported in comment#2, I don't see extraordinary levels in pavucontrol. Audio recording did work well before KDE 4.10. PulseAudio version is 1:2.1-0ubuntu4. -- You received this bug notification
