Hi Matt, As far as I remember, the last line in 'Device' section of you xorg.conf, Opiton AddARGBGLXVisuals True is meant for enabling 3D desktop, beryl. I see that you are not using restricted nvidia driver, you are using default 'nv' driver that does not support 3D desktop (AFAIK), so you may

Hi, I found a work-around for this problem. I searched on Internet for a solution for this and I found one here.. http://lists.kde.org/?l=kde-linuxm=116983610516719w=2 , at least it works for me (Ubuntu 7.04 32bit on AMD 64). I added a line in my xorg.conf file and it works fine after that. Now

I just want to add one more thing that if I leave my system idle for a while, with no screensaver configured, after some time about 10-15 mins., the monitor goes black (power saving mode) and when I come back and move mouse/press key to get the screen back, at that time also the pointer goes off,
