I am not sure this bug is fixed in 14.04.3. I have a (relatively) fresh
install that I brought up-to-date. I bumped into this bug after
gtkorphan removed libwayland-egl1-mesa-lts-vivid.

This bug was fixed in the package livecd-rootfs - 2.208.8
---
livecd-rootfs (2.208.8) trusty; urgency=medium
* Add xserver-xorg-core-lts-vivid to X HWE hints for the resolver.
* Add libwayland-egl1-mesa-lts-vivid to X HWE hints (LP: #1479524)
* Add kde-window-manager to kubuntu
For 14.04.3, I'll just manually hint this in the livefs build, but a
more correct solution to mesa's deps (or mesa's unconditional dlopen)
should be sorted out at some point.

+1 on getting this properly fixed in the mesa Depends, but at least
fixing it in the ISO manifest is a huge step forward.
Thanks!

Looks like mesa should be pulling this in, if it's going to try loading
it unconditionally and explode when it can't. In vivid, we don't have
this problem, as a variety of low level libs (like gtk and sdl) link to
libwayland-egl directly, thus accidentally papering over the fact that
mesa itself
