I tested Ubunti 7.10-beta-desktop-i386 on my PCs.
At one PC the X-Server was not able to start, and i saw only the
commandline.
This PC has a ATI Technologies Inc Rage 128 PF/PRO AGP 4x TMDS connected to a
Belinea 108080
Seems like xresprobe didn't quite do it's job. Could you run 'sudo
xresprobe radeon' and show what it gives?
