I'm sorry, but I'm not on Ubuntu anymore, so I can't really test this
myself. But I'm pretty sure the issue doesn't exist anymore, because I
do have a couple of friends on Ubuntu who use Firefox with uBlock
Origin, and they don't seem to have any such issue.

All buttons stop working, but the context menus still work. So do
shortcuts. The problem disappears after one or two restarts, but is
reproducible (at least on the two machines I tried it out on) on first
install.
