I did have a set of packages held back, I unheld them and the upgrade is working properly. Hello Thank you for your report. It looks like the reason for the failure to upgrade is that you are holding back packages. Do you remember having set a hold on some software (through synaptic for instance)? If you don't, the cause might be due to a repository installation, since the Software Boutique allows for installation of software from third party repositories.
