no after some research i was able to fix all the issues with kubuntu
7.10 it would be nice if there was a more central sudo web site
instead of searching 30 sites

I have re-booted twice and still get the same error message of "unable
to get exclusive lock" when trying to upgrade to Ubuntu 7.10. What else
can I do to get past this error?

Thanks so much for your respones..i did get it fixed after some time in the
ubuntu foruom as well as a few other issues.now i just need to get wine to do
what i need it to and i will doing great! oh by the way i am running Kubuntu
7.10 on a comaq presario C500 any tweak i.e. sodu
