The dbus timeout issue should be resolved in bluez-gnome 1.8. Devices using authentication will properly tell you when to enter the key. If you don't enter it, there will be a proper timeout. The upstream gnome bug also includes comments that this is fixed there too. ** Changed in: bluez-gnome
