Ok, so this is unsupported.
But I think it's a bug in the *system* dpkg that the path of maintainer
scripts is tainted by /usr/local.

The error in your log is:
update-alternatives: fout: kan niets toevoegen aan
'/usr/local/var/log/alternatives.log': Bestand of map bestaat niet
Why is update-alternatives trying to use this path? The correct path to
use is /var/log/alternatives.log. Do you have a local installation of
dpkg
