Unfortunately, the fix for this bug (use the KDE4 version of Dolphin) does not qualify for an SRU. (See: https://wiki.kubuntu.org/StableReleaseUpdates) Furthermore, the KDE4 version of Dolphin is already available to Hardy users. (Install dolphin-kde4) Even though KDE3 is still supported with

I cat confirm this behaviour. I am running Kubuntu 7.10 on Intel processor system, Asus A8F to be precise. I have KDE 3.5.9 installed from unsupported Kubuntu repositories. Dolphin behaves strange when I load a DVD and upon popup ask it to open the disk in dolphin. The DVD drive starts working
