Thanks. It appears this is a problem in the Nvidia driver only. But instead of waiting for a fix for that, you might want to try forcing the integrated GPU (Intel GPU) to be enabled (the Linux kernel can't see it right now). I can see intell gpu in windows and it is active when I do something nod gpu demanding. Else nvidia gpu kicks in. There is no purple screen. It s allways black. Sometimes it gets stuck om the black screen.
