Problems could be using a out-of-date mirror (have you checked your mirror is up-to-date? I am using the default "Software and Update" repository settings. No mirrors. http/https ports are not being stopped by firewall/proxy, but ports used to download software are being actively stopped thus

If I do a "sudo apt remove pinta" in the terminal, I get a "Package 'pinta' is not installed, so not removed". If I do a "sudo apt install pinta" in the terminal, I get the following pasted below. The following additional packages will be installed: binfmt-support ca-certificates-mono
