I was able to test on Mate and the same problem was observed: sticky
keys with the right timing to release the keys.
It also seems independent from the guest, even a Windows 10 guest was
affected by this bug.

For the sake of not giving up I again stated the xubuntu iso, opened the
mousepad editor just like you and typed about two pages of silly
charcters.
It never got stuck the way I see it in your video.

I booted y xubuntu iso but to me it seemed to behave normal.
What exactly are you doing to trigger it being stuck.
E.g. open a console in the guest and hold "A" for 3 seconds?
