You are right: once "dummy speech dispatcher" is closed the volume slider
starts to work again. The problem is that it's not immediately obvious how to
close those dummy dispatchers. I had to close Firefox (closing just discord
webpage didn't help). And even more so - it's absolutely not o
I just reproduced it and it is easy to reproduce, and I think this is a
new design on purpose in the gnome.
If there is no other audio apps (sink-inputs in the pulseaudio) than
"System Sounds" (#7), the adjustment volume slider will produce sound to
indicate the current output volume.

expected, received 0x0" in the logs.
Do you have any comments on the volume slider not producing sound and
dummy adapters appearing in the sound settings (see screenshots
attached). I've been monitoring this bug

This is not a real error, all machines with sof driver will print this message
in case the driver enables the runtime power management.

I narrowed down the trigger of the bug: it happens right after I log in my
discord account(https://discordapp.com/) in Firefox (using Chromium instead of
Firefox doesn't trigger the bug).

I tried to narrow down the possible triggers of the above-described bug. I
think the bug is triggered by KeePassXC - it's reproducible and happens every
time ONLY when I use Keepass to enter my credential on certain webpages in
Firefox (perhaps it has something to do with Firefox, too). A
