dnquark, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any
activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If
so, could you please test for this with the latest development release
of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com
This bug is still unassigned. I'm having the same problem (touchpad is showing
up as a PS/2 mouse using Macintosh mouse button emulation or some such thing)
on an Acer Aspire One AO532h-2326. The link in the previous comment should be
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelTeam/KernelTeamBugPolicies.
I also am using a T2010 - I have Intrepid Beta installed and have just
reviewed my X.org and dmesg logs - it appears the track point is still

** Description changed:
On a Fujitsu t2010 laptop, the synaptics trackpoint device is not

- generic mouse, and as a result can't be used with the Synaptics driver,
- or gsynaptics.
+ detected as a trackpoint by the kernel.
