I dont know how to describe this problem!! If i was on google search
engine, and clicked on a site, then that site has a further link which i
click and it opens in a new windownormally when you close that
page..it will take you back to the first page where thelink was
originally onbut mine

Same here - problem cannot be reproduced. This has only started
happening since v3 was installed through the auto updated in 8.04.
When a website is visited, the browser just quits. No notices, no
warnings. When starting it back up again, you get the Firefox closed
unexpectedly - restore tabs
