[Bug 249724] Re: [needs-packaging] JANE - Just Another Nonlinear (Video) Editor
Can you explain what you do with the information? I sent in the information so that even if it is too early to add to a repository at this stage, Ubuntu would already know about it so it can add it when it does become suitable. Does Ubuntu handle advanced warnings like this? or Do individuals need to follow the projects themselves, and then notify you when the time comes? Does Ubuntu have a policy/procedure of contacting the projects that are too early, and ; a) inform them to let Ubuntu know when they are ready? b) inform them of the project hosting facilities at launchpad's PPA, which helps projects automatically keep Ubuntu up-to-date with what they are doing. Thank you. -- [needs-packaging] JANE - Just Another Nonlinear (Video) Editor https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/249724 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 249724] Re: [needs-packaging] JANE - Just Another Nonlinear (Video) Editor
Thanks fo your bug report. However package you requested is in alpha stage. It may contain serious bugs and therefore is not suitable for repositories. Users who want to test this program could compile it from source code. ** Changed in: ubuntu Status: New = Invalid -- [needs-packaging] JANE - Just Another Nonlinear (Video) Editor https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/249724 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
