Fine. I can't figure out why this can't be replicated. FWIW, I don't have a .gktrc in my system. If you want to try and replicate it, switch to the Clearlooks theme. That'll kill the Inbox, Outbox, and Sent png files as well as all the preference icons in my system. -- can not see icons for

Actually this seems not to be an evolution bug exactly. From what my limited research can figure out, gnome isn't falling back to the hicolor icon set or the hicolor set is lacking the required icons. The only way I could get this fixed and have all the icons work (UPS and Network- Manager as wel
