Does this problem happen only when you have some media content running
such as video? If so you may need to change the GStreamer properties.
Open a terminal window (Applications - Accessories - Terminal) then
start typing in gstreamer-properties, while you are typing press tab to
get linux's
note the command for the terminal window is
gstreamer-properties
as though its all one word. Luck to you :)
