Now I have upgraded to Jaunty too.
- Tracker 0.6.93
- Evolution 2.26.1
- Ubuntu Jaunty 9.04 - 64bit
- Google Desktop v1.2.0.0088
Google Desktop index every possible info on my hdd, Tracker don't index any of
my Evolution emails. I just want to know if there is anyone who use Tracker on

E-mail indexing doesn't work in Intrepid because the old indexer module
doesn't work with the version of Evolution in Intrepid. There is a new
push-module to replace the old indexer module which should work
It's not a Tracker only problem. I have tried Beagle and Tracker on an
old Evolution account with local fetchmail/postfix retrieval. There are
no errors in the mails, ev-summery and *cmeta*, as I have resolved all
existing errors. I have tried a new created Evolution account too, but
still no
On ubuntu Jaunty, same problem. Tracker version is 0.6.93-0ubuntu1 and
my imap account is not indexed.

Same thing here.
Jaunty 64bit, email account is Exchange OWA with every folder synchronized
locally.
If you guys need more tech details just ask what would be best and I will
provide it!

Hi all:
I just installed jaunty Desktop edition, 64 bits, and I'm getting the
same problem as with intrepid. No evolution email gets indexed and I
don't see any option in evolution to activate or deactivate indexing on
folders, and there are no error messages at all.

About Fix Released...
I receive updates every day for my Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex 8.10. 64 bit.
Would I receive this fix automatically or do I have to remove Tracker and
manually install it from tracker website?
My current version is still 0.6.6, but on tracker website
the new version and the fix are in jaunty only, tracker has been mostly
rewritten in jaunty and the change would not easily apply to intrepid
and since it's not a lts and tracker is not used by default it will
probably not be backported there

Here's a me too comment, i.e. tracker is not indexing my evolution's
email messages on my laptop, using Intrepid.

In Evolution, you can set whether or not mail should be indexed on
On Ubuntu 8.10 i386, my Evolution isn't crashing at all, but tracker
also isn't indexing my email messages.
I have two imap accounts configured in Evolution. Tracker has finished
indexing, and although it picks up various other kinds of object, it
reports 0 emails indexed.
So I think the crash
looks like a gtkhtml crash, could you install the libglib, libgtk,

I do not believe this should be assigned to tracker, this bug is in
evolution. I've just experienced the exact same error opening
attachments in a mail sent to me:

The crash only seem to happen when I open a specific image, which I'll
attach now. It's probably something to do with an internal data
structure - perhaps it has extra info in it that Photoshop has added?
