Same problem on a 64bit karmic install, flash stops working after some time, restarting the browser makes it work again - for as long as it lasts. Used 32bit jaunty before, which never had any such problem. May be 64bit related? Opening multiple tabs for me doesn't work as a way to reproduce this,

I don't know if this will help with solving this really annoying bug, but I've realised that Flash can suddenly stop working when I open another tab in Firefox that also contains Flash. For example, just now I was listening to some music in a Flash player on one website, and when I opened a tab

I can confirm this. I'm pretty sure it's been happening since I upgraded to Jaunty 64-bit. Disabling Ubuntu Firefox Modifications was no help at all. I'm using Firefox 3.0.13 and Shockwave Flash 10.0 r22. -- Flash plugin fails to display https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/322935 You received

I think I found the culprit. I disabled the extension called Ubuntu Firefox Modifications and that seems to make the Flash problem go away. Occasionally Flash objects come up as grey boxes (with a Transferring data from... message in the status bar) but they load when I refresh the page. --
