I am closing this bug report as the problem doesn't affect any official Ubuntu packages. EyeConic: This was a mistake in some recent commit: since you were using the latest version from Git (using jhbuild) it can happen that such errors slip in until someone notices and corrects them. If you update the sources and try to compile again, with jhbuild build -f -a -c, you shouldn't experience this problem anymore. I did a clean install of Karmic and was unable to replicate your issue. Could you provide some more detail to your specific situation? Yes I was building from source using Linux Mint 32-bit (same as jaunty) on a fresh install. I followed the instructions from the main gnome site.
