This is a common problem with the old version of xsensors. This problem,
however, should be fixed with the xsensors 0.70 package in Lucid. Could
you please test it and report your results? Thanks.

OK, so to test the newer version you could either try and test this in the
development version (lucid), or, from the orig.tar.gz, extract it, and run
./configure make make install in that directory. The
