Does the scan always hang or only sometimes?
CurrentDmesg.txt contains several sessions of the scanner being
connected via 1394 (and maybe via USB in between). In the first
session, but not in any subsequent ones, is a SCSI read transaction
time-out logged. That time-out was unrecoverable,
Does this still occur with recent versions of Simple Scan / sane-
backends? It looks like a driver bug.
