Another update, after searching and reading a few things related to that issue,
I tried to add 'nohz=off' as a parameter in grub. It fixes the issue and
glxgears is totally smooth and sync at 60hz.

I'm still trying 'things' to know a bit more about this bug. I tried today to
use the latest intel drivers through that ppa:
ppa:glasen/intel-driver and it does not improve things.

Just to add something I have just noticed, I simply need to keep a
finger on the touchpad or simply keep pressing the left button to get
glxgears running smooth at roughly 60fps. No need actually to move the
mouse cursor.

I have done a clean install of Maverick on my eee 1000H with all the latest
updates. The problem is still there.
Some of the files you are asking are missing on my computer:
(/var/log/ker.log and /var/log/Xorg.1.log)
