GPU temperature; when I build it from source and run it, it does that.

Are you using the fglrx driver? It looks like this plugin runs ATI's
utility and asks it for the temperature. It also looks like you need to
configure the package with --with-aticonfig, and the Ubuntu package does
not do this.

This is not a bug in sensors-applet, since it only reports the sensors
that the kernel detects. Support for reading the temperature has
recently been added to the kernel. Can you please test Natty and see if
it shows up there?
