I confirm that it ignores my attempts to change the Run applications
dialog shortcut.
It also ignores my attempts to change the shortcut for Move between
windows of an application, moving a popup window and Move between
panels and the desktop, using a popup window.

You received this bug
There is a workaround.
apt-get install compizconfig-settings-manager. When you run it, you can
click on the thing for the Unity plugin. This will allow you to change
the keys for the Run dialog, and for the Dash thingy (if you don't want
Super/Windows to pop that up).
Then, under Window
This does not apply to all keyboard shortcuts. Unity replaced my
Super+T shortcut to open a terminal with Super+T to open the trash
folder. There does not appear to be any way to re-map the 'Open trash
folder' shortcut. It is not in the Gnome Keyboard Shortcuts applet, nor
in the ccsm bindings,
You need to do it via ccsm. Install compizconfig-settings-manager, and
you'll be able to change the bindings there.

How are you changing them? I rebound the alt+f2 functionality and it
changed as expected.

Hi,
I'm trying to change it via: indicator-session → System Settings →
Keyboard Shortcuts → Enter on Show the panel's Run Application
dialogue box → alt+space
After that alt+space doesn't work, but alt+f2 still brings up the run
dash. I might want to mention I'm on 64-bit x86_64.
Cheers, /N
