tested with the latest mainline i386.deb that is: linux-image-3.1.0-030100rc10-generic_3.1.0-030100rc10.201110200610_i386.deb and the webcam is still not recognised tag changed to 'kernel-bug-exists-upstream' [I think i have done this test correctly. If someone finds I have not please let me
