I haven't been able to reproduce this bug with Firefox in Dapper or
Edgy. I have tried various type of catastrosphic network failure
while browsing with Firefox, and in every situation the browser get
stuck while trying to connect to a new site it doesn't know the IP
address, seems to give up
I'm closing this bug since the initial reporter has the problem fixed.
I'm assuming an update between 4-18-2006 and 5-19-2006 fixed the
problem.

For me it seems fixed in Edgy. HPA area is accessible after resume and works
w/o any problems. (made dd tests, etc.). Using suspend nearly one week.

Ben, linux-libc-dev does not provide asm/unaligned.h any more. Using the
macros get_unaligned and put_unaligned in low-level userspace programs
like reiserfsprogs seems quite legitimate to me. Can this be put back,

As there seems to be no activity on this bug yet, I did a binary search
in the bcollins/ubuntu-edgy git tree to find the problematic commit that
introduced the problem. (I use the http interface on git.kernel.org to
do this.)
The situation is quite confusing. There are two files named skge.c in

Try using sudo aptitude update; sudo aptitude dist-upgrade. I've found
that in many cases aptitude can resolve dependencies like this better
than apt-get can. Can you give that a shot?
